I've been a little conflicted lately with the bag situation when we go to our local produce market. We bring our own grocery bags and although this certainly cuts down on the waste of at least 3-5 bags per trip, I still feel a little obligated to use the plastic produce bags that the grocer provides because it makes it easier for them to weigh each item.
So after my latest trip, it dawned on me that I could just save the local grocer's branded clear plastic produce bags and bring them back with me every single time I go. This way, I'm not being a pain and making it difficult for them to weigh my goods, but I'm not compromising my values either.
